Daybreak Thursday 21 May 2020

I have been working 12 and 13 hour days the last few days, so not getting much reading done, and most days not even getting to see the sunrise. But as today was my birthday, I sat on the deck this morning, well wrapped up against the heavy frost, and watched the dawn, which I would like to share with you, before I went to work.

I hope that you all have had/are having a wonderful day.

Normal transmission will resume as soon as possible.

  1. I hope your birthday was excellent. As you live in my future, being in the southern hemisphere , I’m not sure if your birthday is over now. Beautiful sunrise!

    1. Thanks Tina. I am celebrating with family on the weekend. I am trying to take time out every morning and enjoy the sunrise. But sometimes, like today, it just doesn’t work. I was at work well before the sun came up this morning. And came home in the dark tonight. Strange to think that we are only a month away from the shortest day, and then we can look forward to lengthening days again. πŸŒžπŸ˜·β€πŸ˜πŸ“š

  2. I lost this post in my pile of email notifications. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, Sandy. I hope you had a great day. I am sorry you are having to work so hard with such long days. I hope things have settled down for you somewhat since you originally posted this. πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆπŸŽ‚πŸŒžπŸ’–

    1. Thanks for the birthday wishes Carla…I had a wonderful time the following weekend. Dustin my son, and my grandson Luke came and stayed for the weekend and brought some very good French red wine. Dustin and I sat up into the small hours talking. It was lovely.
Yes,things settled down, but now they are unsettled again. Haven’t had a day off in 2 weeks. Feeling tired and cranky. I keep trying to reduce my hours…. I am going up to Dustin’s this weekend to escape. My phone doesn’t work there. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
